How we work

How we work: four steps from scan to roll-out

How working with Franchise-Marketing.nl works, from the first conversation to the monthly report.

  1. Free scanWe measure the online visibility of three locations and show where the biggest gains are.
  2. PlanOne marketing plan for national and local, with a division of tasks and KPIs per location.
  3. PilotImplementation at ten to fifteen locations. We adjust based on real figures.
  4. Roll-outAll locations, one point of contact, one monthly report.

We work in four fixed steps: scan, plan, pilot and roll-out. That way you only decide about the whole franchise brand once you have seen the figures. We work at chain level, with head office as our client, and sell nothing directly to individual locations.

Step 1: what is included in the free scan?

We look at three locations of your choice, preferably a strong one, an average one and a weak one. For each location we check the Google Business Profile, the position in Google Maps, reviews and replies, the location page and mentions in AI assistants. You receive a short overview of the five biggest opportunities. You can request it via a free scan of three locations.

Step 2: what does the plan look like?

Based on the scan, we create a plan with goals, division of tasks, choice of channels and budget. For a full strategy, we follow the approach of marketing strategy for franchise brands.

StepDurationCost
ScanApprox. 1 weekFree
Plan2 to 6 weeksFixed quote (€65 per hour)
Pilot1 quarterPackage price per location
Roll-outOngoingPackage price per location

Step 3: why start with a pilot?

A pilot with ten to fifteen locations shows what the approach delivers in your franchise brand, with real figures. Franchisees also see the results at fellow locations, which builds support for the roll-out.

Step 4: how do the roll-out and the monthly rhythm work?

After the pilot, we roll out to all locations. From then on we work to a fixed rhythm: weekly signals, a monthly report and a quarterly evaluation. The report follows the format of a KPI dashboard for chains.

Frequently asked questions about how we work

Is the scan really free?
Yes, with no obligation. You receive an overview of three locations with the most important opportunities.
Do I have to continue after the pilot?
No. If the pilot does not deliver what we agreed, you stop with no further obligation.
Who is my point of contact?
Gijs Bodenstaff, the founder. You will not deal with a succession of account managers: Gijs stays your contact and the permanent team carries out the work.
What steps does the Franchise-Marketing.nl way of working consist of?
Four fixed steps: scan, plan, pilot and roll-out. First we measure three locations, then we draw up one marketing plan for national and local, next we carry it out at ten to fifteen locations, and finally we roll out to all locations. That way you only decide on the whole brand once you have seen the figures.
How long does it take from the free scan to roll-out across all locations?
The scan takes about a week, the plan two to six weeks and the pilot one quarter. Then comes the roll-out, which is ongoing. So allow roughly four to five months before all locations are on board, depending on how quickly the plan is finalised and the pilot has been evaluated.
Which locations are reviewed in the free scan?
Three locations of your choice, ideally a strong, an average and a weak one. For each location we check the Google Business Profile, the position in Google Maps, reviews and replies, the location page and mentions in AI assistants. You receive a short overview with the five biggest opportunities.
What does the marketing plan after the scan cost?
We charge the plan as a fixed quote based on €65 per hour, excluding VAT. It takes two to six weeks, depending on the size of the brand, and covers goals, division of tasks, channel choice, budget and KPIs per location. The pilot and roll-out then fall under the package price per location.
Why does the partnership start with a pilot of ten to fifteen locations?
Because a pilot with real figures shows what the approach delivers in your brand before you decide on all locations. During the pilot we adjust based on the results. Franchisees also see the results at fellow franchisees, which builds support for the roll-out to the rest of the brand.
What does the working rhythm look like after roll-out?
Weekly signals, a monthly report and a quarterly review. The monthly report follows the structure of a KPI dashboard for chains, with the same figures for every location. The whole brand has one point of contact and one monthly report, so head office can quickly see strong and weak locations.
What do the pilot and roll-out cost per location?
The pilot and roll-out fall under the package price per location: €99, €250 or €400 per location per month, excluding VAT, depending on the package chosen. Strategy and advice outside the packages are charged at €65 per hour. The scan beforehand is free and without obligation.
